Structured cabling and fibre

The physical layer every system depends on, designed for today's load and tomorrow's growth, then tested and documented.

In short

Astaa Technologies installs structured cabling systems including Cat6 and Cat6A copper, single mode and multimode fibre, racks, patch panels and containment. Every link is tested and labelled, and you receive as built documentation so future moves and expansions are fast and predictable.

AI at work

AI ready infrastructure

Edge AI cameras, high resolution streams and GPU servers need bandwidth, power over Ethernet and fibre capacity. We size cabling and backbones for today's AI devices and the next generation.

How we apply AI

Designed before it is pulled

We plan cable routes, containment, rack layouts and power over Ethernet budgets with your IT, security and facilities teams. Security systems, Wi-Fi and voice all share a clean, scalable backbone.

Fibre where distance matters

Fibre backbones connect buildings, gatehouses and remote camera poles that are beyond copper limits, and we use industrial grade enclosures for outdoor and plant environments.

Tested and documented

Each link is certified with test results, labelled at both ends and recorded in as built drawings, which makes troubleshooting and audits straightforward.

Capabilities

Copper cabling

Cat6 and Cat6A horizontal cabling sized for PoE cameras, access points and phones.

Fibre optic backbone

Single mode and multimode fibre, splicing and termination between buildings.

Racks and data rooms

Cabinets, patching, cable management and power distribution.

Containment

Trays, trunking and conduit installed to protect cables and allow growth.

Certification and testing

Link testing with documented results for every run.

As built documentation

Labelled drawings and schedules handed over at completion.

Brands we specify

We recommend equipment based on risk, integration needs and lifecycle cost, then supply genuine products through authorised channels.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose Cat6 or Cat6A cabling?

Cat6 is suitable for most office and camera links up to 1 Gbps. Cat6A supports 10 Gbps and higher power over Ethernet budgets, so it is a better long term choice for Wi-Fi 6 and 7 access points and high power devices.

Do you install fibre between buildings?

Yes. We design and install single mode and multimode fibre backbones between buildings, gatehouses and remote poles, including splicing, termination and testing.
