Wireless point to point and multipoint

Gigabit wireless links that connect buildings, camera poles and remote sites where trenching fibre is slow, costly or impossible.

In short

Astaa Technologies designs and installs point to point (PTP) and point to multipoint (PTMP) wireless networks using Ubiquiti and Mimosa radios. These links deliver high capacity connectivity over several kilometres, and we have deployed them for energy producers such as Mari Energies, for ports and for industrial and remote sites.

AI at work

Intelligent spectrum management

Modern radios scan and adapt to interference automatically, keeping links stable for AI video streams from remote poles, wellheads and yards.

How we apply AI

Connect what cables cannot reach

Wireless backhaul links remote gates, wellheads, camera poles and satellite buildings back to the main network in days rather than months, without civil works.

Engineered for capacity and reliability

We carry out line of sight and spectrum surveys, plan frequencies and antenna alignment, and design redundancy for critical links. Mimosa and Ubiquiti radios deliver gigabit class throughput with carrier grade performance.

Field proven

Our teams have installed wireless networks on towers and industrial structures in demanding conditions, including energy sites in Pakistan and critical facilities in the UAE.

Capabilities

Point to point links

Long range, high capacity links between two sites.

Point to multipoint

One base station connecting many remote cameras, gates or buildings.

Spectrum and path surveys

Line of sight checks, interference scans and link budget planning.

Towers and mounting

Masts, poles and mounting hardware installed safely by trained crews.

Encrypted links

Secured wireless traffic for security and operational data.

Monitoring and support

Link health monitoring and maintenance for continuous uptime.

Brands we specify

We recommend equipment based on risk, integration needs and lifecycle cost, then supply genuine products through authorised channels.

Frequently asked questions

How far can a point to point wireless link reach?

Range depends on radio model, antenna size, frequency and clear line of sight. Typical enterprise links run from a few hundred metres to well over ten kilometres. We confirm feasibility with a path survey.

Is wireless backhaul reliable enough for CCTV?

Yes, when it is engineered correctly. We plan capacity for video streams, design fade margin for weather and add redundancy for critical links.

What is the difference between PTP and PTMP?

PTP connects exactly two locations with a dedicated link. PTMP uses one base station to connect several remote sites, which is cost effective for distributed cameras or buildings.
